Vijay is an accomplished Quality, Regulatory & Analytical professional with about 40 years of rich experience of working for highly reputed Indian & Multinational Pharma firms like Unichem, Ranbaxy, Sun Pharma , Lupin, IPCA, German Remedies  in  Sr positions like EVP, Director & GM- Quality & Regulatory. He has led from front for several successful regulatory inspections including US FDA, MHRA, WHO, EDQM, ANVISA, TGA both for Drug Products & API’s.

Since 2013, he is running his own Pharma Consultancy called TRAC offering specialized services globally, for cGMP Training, Regulatory Filings, Auditing & Compliance. His current clients include reputed pharma companies based in India, China, Bangladesh, Turkey, US, Europe, Malaysia etc..  He is a frequent international trainer on several cGMP related topics.

He is the founder President of ‘Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science’. He is currently working on the board of Directors of ISPE-India. IDMA has conferred upon him an ‘Outstanding Analyst Award 2011’ for his contribution towards pharmaceutical analysis. He has also published articles on cGMP related topics like CAPA, OOS, QbD & cGMP in reputed journals/books. He is M.Sc. by Research in Organoanalytical Chemistry from Mumbai University. He has a good Microbiological background too.

Dr.L.Ramaswamy, A Graduate in Chemistry with post graduation in Marketing and Human resource Management  and a doctorate  in Pharmaceutical Business Administration, has been working with Indian Pharmaceutical Industry in various positions for more than four decades. During the tenure he had the opportunity to represent his organization in many platforms and one of which was representing the India Delegation to Canada organized by Government of India during 2007. Currently he works as Founder and Chairman of Sotax India Pvt Ltd, a fully owned Subsidiary of Sotax AG, Switzerland and is on the board of directors at Ortiv-Q3, a joint venture CRO subsidiary of Sotax AG. He is also the Secretary General of SPDS – Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science, Head of pharma vertical, USIIC under economic affairs of  US consulate, Mumbai (usiic.in), India Ambassador for AAiPS – American Association of Indian Pharmaceutical Scientists (aaips.org), Founder and National Convenor of AIPAC – All India Pharmaceutical Association Consortium, Governing body member FPQL – Forum of Pharma Quality leaders (fpql.in), Life member IPA – Indian Pharmaceutical Association (ipapharma.org), Associate member of IDMA – Indian Drug Manufacturer’s Association (idma-assn.org) and Member of Indo-Swiss Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. R. S. Pal has basic qualification and training in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry. He has been actively involved in various types of equipments used in Pharmaceutical Industry. Presently, he is the Vice President – Technical & Support at SOTAX  India Pvt Ltd. He specializes in Dissolution equipments, particularly the Flow Through Cell(USP IV apparatus).

Dr. Abha Doshi is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, currently serving as the Principal and Professor at the MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai. With a career spanning over 28 years, Dr. Doshi has made significant contributions to both the education and pharmaceutical industries.

Educational Background:

• B. Pharm. (1984) and M. Pharm. (1986) from Dr. H. S. Gour University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.
• Ph.D. (1997) in Pharmaceutical Technology from C. U. Shah College of Pharmacy, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.

Professional Experience:

• Dr. Doshi started her career in the pharmaceutical industry by working for Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., Dewas (M.P.) in Tablet Production for three years.
• She then transitioned to academia, joining MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) in 1996 as a lecturer. Over time, she rose to the position of Professor and Principal, where she has been guiding students and leading the institution for over two decades.

Research and Contributions:

• Dr. Doshi has been a prolific researcher, contributing to the field of pharmaceutical sciences, particularly in areas like gastro-retentive drug delivery, nanoparticles, and mucoadhesive drug delivery.
• She has presented 21 research papers at national and international seminars and conferences.
• Her scholarly work includes 23 publications in various national and international journals.
• Dr. Doshi has also made significant strides in intellectual property, holding a patent for buccal patches for aphthous ulcers and having two additional patents pending.

Awards and Recognition:

• In recognition of her exceptional work, Dr. Doshi has received numerous awards, including:
  • M. L. Khorana Award (2003) for the best paper published in the Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • MET Pragyawant and MET Gaurav Awards (2019).
  • Iconic Principal Award (2021) by ASIA-GCC.
  • Best Service Award (2023) by INSO.

Leadership Roles:

• Dr. Doshi is also deeply involved in professional organizations. She is the founder trustee and executive member of the Society of Pharmaceutical Dissolution Sciences, contributing to the growth and development of the pharmaceutical industry.

A meticulous and versatile pharma professional, holding rich experience of 28+ years in Analytical Research and Development for Pharma industry. Proficient in analytical R&D and Method Validations for generic formulations of various dosage forms. He has supported analytical method development and validation activities for more than 70 ANDA’s and EU Dossiers.

Suhas is currently serving as an Independent Analytical Research and Development consultant to Pharma Industry and SOTAX India and he is also associated with ImageProVision Technology as an Application Specialist. He is also one of the founders and Trustee Member of “Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS)

Dr (Mrs) Mala D.Menon is currently Adjunct Professor of Pharmaceutics, Bombay College of Pharmacy (BCP) , Mumbai. She joined BCP way back in 1986 after working with Pharma Industry for 2 years.

Her research areas include Novel Drug Delivery systems, mainly Nasal & Pulmonary systems and Ocular systems; Probiotics, Novel vaccine delivery approaches, Novel Veterinary Drug Delivery Systems, Enzyme delivery systems, Dissolution rate test evaluations.

She had handled many research projects from Government agencies – from AICTE, UGC, BRNS, Mumbai University; and Industry sponsored projects from Yash Pharma, US Vitamins, Mother Dairy, Hansen Probiotics, Glenmark, Famy Health Care, Abbott India, Getz Pharma, Pfizer, Valois Pharma (now APTAR Pharma)-France, Lupin (USA), Saife Vetmed, Gattafosse, Lubrizol and ACG.

She is a recipient of several awards, including – Dr. P. D.
