Dr. Thakker’s career in the pharmaceutical industry has spanned more than 30 years. In that time she has developed expertise in developing and validating analytical methods for a variety of dosage forms.
In the summer of 1995 she founded Analytical Solutions, Inc., a GLP/GMP compliant facility in Research Triangle Park, with a mission to provide high quality analytical services to the pharmaceutical industry.
Today, Analytical Solutions is a recognized leader in in vitro release rate and skin permeation testing in support of topical and other pharmaceutical dosage forms (e.g. buccal patches, orally disintegrating tablets and ocular solutions). Dr. Thakker’s ongoing work on the advisory panel of USP has resulted in the issuance of new testing methods for topical dosage forms.
